Power|Plant is a combination of a wireless charging pad, a plant pod, and a storage surface for an accessory (i.e. earphones, wallet). Hand-crafted, Power|Plant is a contemporary addition to accessorize your office table, living room, majlis or even top of that drawer next to your bed. The product was on sale at the CAAD Concept Pop-Up Shop, April 2019.
Process

The whole process of creating the Power|Plant was quite engaging. The initial idea was to create a placeholder for the phone and other daily pocket accessories that an individual could put while arriving home or to work. It started off on a cut A4 paper (1), after 3D modeling the first prototype (2), a formwork for concrete mixture was made (3). First finished mold (4,5) had unnecessary space that was not quite suitable for a table- or drawer- top. Next series of prototypes were reduced in all three dimensions (length, width, height) to become as efficient as possible for the amount of functions it provides the user with (6). Total of four power|plants were made.
